I’m Adrian Martinez a tattoo artist born and raised in Anaheim ,Ca. Ive been working in Houston Tx for the past 8 years, I work in a studio called Los Muertos Tattoo Studio in Downtown Houston. I’m known for fine lines, smooth shading, freehand and hispanic imagery. All of my tattoos are hand drawn custom-made for the client’s concept and I take the most pride in giving work that is unique and quality. My Tattoo Style
Illustrative/Realism Black and grey
Things I like to do: Girl heads/pin-ups, Chicano/Mexican imagery/traditional imagery, aztec gods, large scale work, Human/animal skulls, day of the dead, portraits (family/Famous people), eyes, anime/ cartoons, video gaming, horror/gothic imagery.
Things I’m interested in trying but haven’t done yet: im really interested in doing movie portraits /movie scenes ( i like imagery that looks like its moving and you can tell a story through , Marvel/starwars is always at the top for me.) Any Dinosaur/alien/ and unknown phenomenon tattoos. Also i want to do more back pieces and frontal work.
Things I don’t like to do: Butterflys, lions, new school,watercolor, script, etc.
Black and grey
Color accepted (color also takes longer for me than B&G.)
No reworks unless we start a sleeve and there is a tattoo that needs to be touched up to match.
I do do Cover Ups but only in color will make an exception to do black and grey with actual color grey .(I will need more freedom on the design to make sure the cover up looks good and fits right) cover ups designs cannot have to much details depending on what is is you are covering.
I will cover scars (healed at least 6 months) and birthmarks/discoloration
I consider cover ups of very small tattoos or faded tattoos.
I will NOT rework another artists tattoo.

Overly complicated/detailed concepts will not be considered. Try to Limit 2-3 subjects per tattoo.
Artistic freedom
If you like my work shown on my page and want your tattoo to come out like some of my best work then trust my Artistic opinion and process. I won’t copy your reference photo (unless it’s a portrait), I treat reference as reference, and I will draw my own version.
SLEEVES
Yes, I do sleeves, but I will book large arm/leg projects 1/4 at a time. To ensure your sleeve getting done in a timely manner, all sleeve projects require 2 deposits and 3 appointments scheduled 2-3 weeks apart.

I do have available flash and concepts, most of which is posted on my Instagram page in the story highlights. You can upload a screen shot of any flash or reference if your concept is accepted. I DO NOT DO CONSULTATIONS IN PERSON due to that most days i am busy with a client and do not have time to sit and talk in the middle of a session ( i will make some exceptions if you already dropped a deposit and you need to discuss certain things in person. i.e. you have a scar or cover up and i/you need discuss the design and see the area of tattoing) if need to do so then add info in the additional info box in the consultation form.
How I charge:
I will only accept CASH, ZELLE, PAYPAL, AND VENMO

HOURLY:
$150 per hour
Mini sesh, I Recommend:
(tattoos smaller than 2 inches)
Mini sesh (2hr) $300 ($100 deposit + $200 day of)
YES you can book more than one small tattoo, I will do however many I can get done in 2 hours
Dainty finger tattoos usually DO NOT stick well and you may have to pay for a second pass if you want them to stay crisp
Small Tattoos, I Recommend:
(tattoos 3-5 inch small)
Half day flat rate (4hr) $600
(100$ deposit+$500 day of the session)
(Any design with a face 3-6 inches)
Full day flat rate (6-8 hrs) 900-1200$
(200$ deposit, 700$-1000$ day of the session)
*if we do not use the full 6-8 hrs, I will only charge for the hours used
*hand/foot tattoos are high friction areas and usually DO NOT stick well the first time. You will have to pay for a second pass if you want them to stay crisp and vivid. (SAME APPLIES TO COVER UPS THE FIRST SESSION OF COLOR IS LIKE A BASE COAT OF PAINT AND MIGHT NEED A SECOND PASS OF COLOR FOR BETTER COVER RESULTS DEPENDING EXISTING TATTOO DARKNESS)
I Recommend:
(the most common sized tattoos, 5-8 in, usually the distance between a wrist and an elbow)
Full day flat rate (6-8hr) (900$-1200$)
*if we do not use the full 6 hr the I will only charge for the hours used
FOR LARGE SCALE AND SLEEVE WORK
I recommend:
(anything more than 2 sessions IE. sleeves, torso, back)
Full day flat rate (8hr) $1200
Half day flat rate (4hr) $600.
Additional Information
I start charging once the needle touches your skin. I do NOT work more than 7/8 hours at a time. On the day of your appointment you can expect to pay no less than $300 (200$ w/o deposit ). I'll try to give you a rough price the day of your appointment, but it depends on the final design, placement, and the amount of hours it takes to complete. If you have a budget, I am willing to work with you but please be realistic. A Deposit of $100 minimum is required for any appointment; deposits are NOT refundable and NOT transferable. Deposit covers one reschedule (within 48 hour notice).
